This article explains how geo-engineering could save the planet from the worst of global warming. But there are many questions, such as what happens if it causes side-effects. Controlling the climate could in itself cause massive problems, endless squabbles over the temperature, rainfall, wind etc. It reminds me of the story of King Midas being given the power to turn everything into gold.
