  2. Of course the average taxpayer is confused. One minute there’s a set of data and the next, it’s “proved” wrong. We’re sat here wondering what to think next when the government decides climate change is suddenly a security issue. In Canada, our diplomats don’t even bother talking to the media about the issue, they hired a public relations expert to deal with this new, “terrifying challenge to our security.” Massive indifference is what happens when too many different versions of a story are rolled out.
