New data from a Japanese satellite seems to turn existing ideas upside down according to this article which appears to show that the third world emits more CO2 than the developed nations.

The link does not appear to work now, so just to show I did really see it here is another link with more information on it.

Oh my god. That link - don't the comments below the graph at the top make you immediately want to never listen to a word posted there? If not, why not? You understand why that's utter nonsense, right? I mean this: "The horizontal line is totally arbitrary, just a visual trick. The whole graph would be a horizontal line if it were calibrated in whole degrees -- thus showing ZERO warming".

I agree that those words are not what I would have said, but the point that the warming is very small is true, as I have said myself. Anyway the article I was referring to was below it and was about the data from the Japanese satellite. What do you make of that?
