PAUL NURSE ATTACKS CLIMATE SCEPTICS USING THREATENING LANGUAGE

This piece describes the views of Sir Paul Nurse the current chairman of the British Science Association. His outburst shows contempt for those who don't agree with his views. He seems blinkered to any other interpretation of the data and models.

  1. Climate does not do politics.

A simple equation, which combines the sunspot number anomaly time-integral (as a proxy) with a simplified approximation of the net effect of ocean cycles, explains average global temperatures since before 1900 (through the current hiatus) with R^2 greater than 0.9 (95% correlation) and calculates a credible estimate back to 1610. The current trend is down.

Search AGWunveiled to see the method, equation, data sources, history (hind cast to 1610) and predictions (to 2037).

  2. Here are some of "Sir" Paul Nurse's "serial offenders."

How did someone of his obvious lack of integrity ever become president of the British Science Association? Even in the Dark Ages many were more enlightened than he. So much for "modern" man.

The pompous blowhard could probably power a wind turbine all by himself.
