Look at the temperature graph constructed from ice cores which shows that this is the coolest "warm period" since the last ice age. The main threat to polar bears is the presence of man close to their natural environment.<br /><br />As far as climate sensitivity to CO2 is concerned, there have been a whole range of figures produced, including some very low ones from Richard Lindzen and others.
