TREES NOT A GUIDE TO PAST CLIMATE

For years scientists have used tree rings as a proxy for temperature in order to reconstruct the past temperature of the planet. This new study throws all that into doubt. It is yet another nail in the coffin of the notorious hockey stick graph which was used to try to deny the existence of the medieval warm period.
