MERKEL STICKS TO CLIMATE POLICY DESPITE JOB LOSSES

Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor is determined to stick to the tough CO2 reduction targets in spite of the fact that she has been told that many jobs will be lost. This article explains her thinking. If the recession keeps going she may change her mind as the election gets nearer.
