AIR FARES TO RISE FROM GOVERNMENT TAX

UK air fares are set to increase as a result of increased Air Passenger Duty by the new government according to this report. This is supposed to reduce CO2 emissions, but will only do so if the number of flights is cut, causing job losses in the industry and a reduction in tourism. This will not help our economic recovery.
