WILL WE BE FORCED TO HAVE HEAT PUMPS BY AN INCREASE IN THE COST OF GAS?
This article points out exactly why heat pumps will not be popular. This begs the question of how exactly will the government 'persuade' us to swap our gas boilers for more expensive alternatives. I doubt if they will offer to pay for them, so that leaves the other option of increasing the price of gas.
