This site is a reference point for those with a cool head for climate science, arguably the most political science ever. When the government and most of the media concentrate on alarmism, this site is the antidote for those who don't believe the scare stories - YOU ARE NOT ALONE! UK FACTORY CLOSES AS ENERGY PRICE SOARS
This report looks at the latest example of our crazy energy prices killing off jobs.

GERMANS BACK-PEDALING ON GW TARGETS
This article gives the details. Basically, the German leadership (currently considering bailing out Greece) has realised that their CO2 reduction commitments are simply going to cost german jobs, while other countries benefit at their expense. Surely it cannot be long before the UK government comes to the same obvious conclusion and quietly dumps the UK targets.

STERN REVIEW SCANDAL
As if there isn't enough error in the IPCC Report already here's even more. It really seems to be a sloppy piece of work in which they have ignored their own guidelines so often that it no longer has any credibility.

UK FARMERS POLL SHOWS MAJORITY NOT AFFECTED BY CLIMATE CHANGE
This article refers to a survey of over 400 farmers showing that 60% of them indicate that they are unaffected by climate change. This is despite the alarmists claiming that "climate change is accelerating" and that "the evidence is clear", etc, etc. How odd that the very people who depend on the weather are so unobservant!

GLOBAL COOLING PREDICTED BY MODEL
This article is quite lengthy and somewhat mathematical in part, but it is still quite easy to follow and gives a logical argument why the world will face global cooling over the coming 20 years. It also predicts that the 21st century will result in virtually no warming at all.

ARCTIC MAY BE GETTING COLDER
A Russian scientist says the Arctic may be getting colder, according to this report. One thing for sure is that our climate is always changing - though not always getting warmer.

VOLCANIC ASH, CLIMATE AND THE PRECAUTIONARY PRINCIPLE
Lord Lawson makes the connection here. The link, of course is that the forecast for both the ash cloud and the climate are being made using computer models. It is becoming clear that these models are flawed.

VICTORY FOR SCIENTIST IN DATA REQUEST
A UK university has been forced to hand over its tree ring data to a climate sceptic scientist who has fought a 3 year battle to gain the information. The full story can be found in the Times.

HOW ABOUT A JOB?
This report looks at what Oxfam are concentrating on, and it isn't providing food for the third world. No, you've guessed it, it's providing propaganda on climate change with trained media experts to do it.

TEMPERATURE MEASURING - THE FLAWS
This report gives a detailed look at the US temperature measuring stations. It should be widely read, but alas it is one of the public's best kept secrets. The disturbing findings by themselves should be enough for any fair-minded person to have serious doubts about the temperature records. When we add in the errors to the IPCC report and the evidence from the climategate emails, you would have to be mad not to have real concerns. But our government and the opposition parties just aren't interested in looking at any of it.

CLIMATEGATE INVESTIGATION REPORTS DAMNED
Christopher Booker gives a damning account of the attempted whitewash of the CRU scientists and their data by the two reports which have been published so far. Excellent stuff as always.

DO FRACTIONS OF A DEGREE TEMPERATURE RISES IN A CENTURY MATTER?
This is the question at the heart of the debate on global warming. This article looks at the temperature rise in the different states in the USA which range from +1.4C to -0.4C. The effects of the differences seems, according to the article, to be hardly noticeable. Of course that is the opposite of the predictions by those who promote the 'solutions' to global warming.

COLD WINTERS TO BE REGULAR FEATURE IN UK.
This article in the Telegraph gives the details. The scientist who wrote this is linking the low activity in the sun to the weather, something that goes back to the Maunder Minimum of the 17th Century when the Thames froze over.

WHO NEEDS A REPORT TO SPOT RANK DECEPTION?
This article from Joanne Nova sums up the true outcome of the leaked email scandal. No official report can change the reality and attempts to dilute and hide the facts will simply sound false.

SEA-BASED WIND TURBINES SINKING!
This report explains How some UK wind turbines are already subsiding. So apart from the fact that these objects are not going to produce a sufficient consistent supply of electricity, they are also likely to need very high maintenance to add even further to the cost of electricity. In fact the cost of all this is estimated by the government to be around £150 billion, which is almost as much as the size of the UK deficit. But will any of our politicians cancel all this? I think we all know the answer.

MELTING SEA ICE SLOWS GLOBAL WARMING
Here's a story which appears contradictory - melting sea ice in the Antarctic has been shown to result in the growth of planckton which absorbs more CO2.

OXBURGH REPORT SUPERFICIAL BUT CRITICAL BENEATH THE WHITEWASH
The second report into the leaked CRU emails has just published its rather sketchy findings. Here is a brief overview by the Global Policy Foundation, which points out that the overall finding which exonerates them has within it some criticism which is all the more unexpected coming from such apparently biased people.

UNDERSEA SUPER VOLCANOES
This article explains the enormous power of these still little understood natural phenomena. Doubtless they have had a dramatic effect on our climate, and were they to erupt again would cause serious problems.

GLOBAL WARMING OR ALLEVIATING POVERTY?
This article looks at this dilemma in the light of the World Bank decision to grant a loan for a South African Coal Power plant. The conclusion reached by the writer seems to be that poverty alleviation trumps stopping global warming - in other words there is no real imperative to 'save the planet'. So there we have it!

GREEN ROAD TO HELL
Here is an article from the Times Business section. It shows the mainstream are beginning to wake up to what is going on. Once the public start to see the reality they may react - we can only hope.

WORLD BANK APPROVES S. AFRICAN LOAN FOR NEW COAL PLANT
In yet another example of reality trumping global warming, the World Bank has approved a loan for a new coal-fired electricity power plant. Here is the story from EUReferendum.

ENERGY PRICES LEAD TO RIOTS
No, this is not the UK, but Kyrgyzstan somewhere on the Russian border, but it may be a foretaste of things to come if governments continue to cause energy prices to rise. The details are in this Mail article.

CANADA CUTS CLIMATE RESEARCH BUDGET
Here is an interesting development. With the economic downturn widespread, I wonder if this will become more likely elsewhere, particularly if warming does not return.

POLAND IN DASH FOR GAS
This Times article shows that the new methods of extracting gas are having a significant impact. I wonder why we hear nothing of this in our mainstream news?

MODELLING MADNESS TRUMPED BY REALITY
Here's a good article which once again proves that climate computer models are about as reliable as a long term weather forecast.

FEED-IN TARIFF MADNESS EXPOSED
In their headlong dash for renewable energy the UK government (and the opposition for that matter!)is causing utter madness, as This article explains. It is ironic that this scheme started on April Fool's Day!

ANNUAL COST OF CLIMATE CHANGE ACT
The Booker Column looks at the massive cost of all this to us all. With Arctic ice back to normal levels when will the government see reason?
WHY CARBON IS THE WORLD'S BEST FRIEND
Here's a great article from David Bellamy and Jack Barrett which explains why the climate scare is simply that.

CLIMATE HYPOCRISY
This article highlights the hypocrisy which lies beneath the surface of many of those who claim to want to 'save the planet'. This is a parallel to the behaviour of many who claim to be deeply religious, only to be discovered doing the opposite.

LESSONS FROM CLIMATEGATE
This thought-provoking article by Simon Montford, author of a book on Climategate, gives us the sort of conclusions that we should get from the inquiries that have been set up, but I very much doubt that we will.

NUCLEAR FISSION FOR 21ST CENTURY
This report looks at a different fissile material which is plentiful and relatively safe. Surely this is the way forward - not the unreliable wind turbines?
