POWER CUTS HIT THE UK

I don't recall this story making the TV news, but it may be the sign of things to come. If we get a cold winter and we replace reliable coal and gas power with wind it must be very probable.
This article from 2006 lays out the dangers, but the government is governed by EU directives and they are unable to make the decisions that are needed for the people of the UK.

  1. Hi There,

Did you get so many hits to your blog that the counter on the bottom of the site broke??

  2. It looks like it may have! It looked ok a few days ago when I last looked. The bottom one is ok and that measures the number of separate individuals. The other one gave total hits. Thanks for pointing it out.
