Why do scientists who support the CO2 theory of global warming only use measurements of CO2 levels taken from ice cores to reconstruct past levels, when there are large numbers of well documented actual measurements made by scientists from as far back as 1812? The answer is in order to manipulate and deceive, according to This report by Dr. Zbigniew Jaworowski which explains that scientific measurements of CO2 levels show that between 1880 and 1940, when global temperatures increased by 0.5C, levels of CO2 increased from 290ppm to 440ppm (about 60ppm higher than today).
Between 1949 and 1970 global temperature decreased by 0.3C and the CO2 level dropped to 330ppm. Today when man-made CO2 emissions are 30 times higher than in 1980 the CO2 level is similar to that in the 1930's.
The paper referred to is essential reading for any climate realist. It is a quite shocking inditement of the establishment scientists of today. Will we ever believe a government scientist again?
I find it interesting how short term peoples memories are. I remember the summer of 1980, I remember trees dying and the drought that we had here in Texas. I also remember the comments about the Arctic ice cap back then:

Interestingly enough we are just coming off another solar cycle and the earth appears again to be cooling. So I figure in 25yrs we'll be doing this again if we have a country/economy that is still stong enough to survive another run of the sheep.

ReplyDeleteLets say there is no relationship between Co2 and global warming. Should we not still support a green economy since we are very certain greenhouse gases cause a number of respiratory diseases. That is not disputed. Go to Beijing China and look at the black clouds.
ReplyDeleteGreen house gas = CO2. At least 99% of the discussions revolve around CO2. CO2 in the atmosphere does not cause black clouds. MAn you people are scary
ReplyDeleteNASA and Russian scientists independantley derived very similar results for co2 levels for the last 400 thousand years from ice core samples. Until the industrial revolution levels were from approx. 180 to 280 ppm. Since 1960 levels have increased from approx. 315 to 285 ppm. Only the incorrigably ignorant deny that man causes it.

ReplyDeleteThe real question should be: Can the results of Beck and Jaworowski be duplicated and verified, per any scientific proposition. Confirming their results would force a re-write of the entire AGW hypothesis.
ReplyDeleteOur economy isn't strong enough to discover alternatives to carbon-oxidation-based energy sources? Or smart enough? The future will arrive, let's be ready, we can't afford to be unprepared.
