THREE STORIES THE WARMISTS DON'T WANT TO SEE IN THE MEDIA

Here are the stories. Some of them have already been aired on this website, but it is worth looking at the article to remind ourselves.

  1. Here's one of the stories:

  2. The second story:
Polar bears in Svalbard in good condition – so far
    http://www.npolar.no/en/news/2015/12-23-counting-of-polar-bears-in-svalbard.html

"The ice conditions were good this last year, and so the availability of food has been good. But should there be several years in a row with poor ice conditions, this may be of major consequences for the polar bears. – A rise in the population does not come as a big surprise, as population numbers previously have been low due to the fact that these bears were hunted until 40 years ago, Dr. Aars added.

The trend for the ice cover in the Arctic is that it is diminishing in extent as well as in thickness. It is expected that the ice conditions will have a further negative trend, which will be a challenge for ice-dependent species such as polar bears."

  3. What is interesting is that polar bears have survived warmer climates than the present. Look at the temperature graph constructed from ice cores which shows that this is the coolest "warm period" since the last ice age. The main threat to polar bears is the presence of man close to their natural environment.

As far as climate sensitivity to CO2 is concerned, there have been a whole range of figures produced, including some very low ones from Richard Lindzen and others.
