AUSSIE COURT REJECTS CLIMATE CASE

A win: Australian Federal Court tosses out high schoolers climate case « JoNova (joannenova.com.au)

It is the court’s view that it’s not their place to set policies on climate change. Instead, they say, it’s the job of elected representatives in the federal government. At last some common sense from judges.

  1. JoNova is clearly a climate denier. In teh United States, there are children suing the government. What is their rights as citizens of the United States and the world to have a future, that is so negatively influenced by the present use of our energy. Not all courts think the same. I'm sure there are appeals courts in Australia that may take a different view of the rights of children and the government's responsibility to them.
