A QUESTION TO POSE TO A CLIMATE ALARMIST

In his latest short video Paul Burgess suggests posing a simple question to a climate alarmist as in this 2 minute video. He says to point out to them what effect all the measures have had on the level of CO2 emissions world-wide over the past 20 years and showing a graph which indicates no effect at all apart from the major recessions and covid. He makes a very good point, but the alarmist will, of course come back with "but we have got to do far more", and then reel off the extreme weather events which they claim to be linked to climate change. Arguing with a climate alarmist is a bit like arguing with a Jehovah's Witness - it;s very time consuming and you don't get anywhere!

The findings may seem counterintuitive, but frequent low-lying surface fires often maintain balance in forests by reducing fuel sources across large areas, says Phys.org.  They show modern-day fires are much less frequent than they were in past centuries, despite recent record-breaking fire years, such as 2020. "EVERYONE IS GIVING UP ON CLIMATE GOALS"

That is the title of this short video by Sabine Hossenfelder, who produces science videos and has a large following. In this video she looks at how the big institutions and companies have backed out of costly pledges. All this was predictable. Fortunately the evidence suggests that the effect of CO2 has been shown to be much less than alarmists were predicting. At the end of the video she mentions a wildlife charity which does good work to try and help to save endangered species. Something that most people would agree is worthwhile. Definitely worth watching, though I find her German accent a bit off-putting.

It was just as warm during the Medieval Warm Period, around 1000 years ago. It was a really good time, just like the Roman Optimum about 2000 years ago. The worst climate was the Little Ice Age which only ended in about 1850. Just think, if we hadn't warmed up by that 1.5 degrees C. we would still be in it today!" 

Amber smiled and gave a sigh of relief.  "I am so glad you came", she said. "Now I know the truth I will go back to college and tell all my friends".

Amber took a load of selfies with Yerma and put them on Facebook with a short video of Yerma explaining things which soon went viral. After that she became a massive celebrity and President Trump invited her to the White House where she explained what had happened to the American public.

A short while ago a researcher, Ray Sanders, reported on some very poor practices going on at the UK Met Office.
