Will this production calm the fears of vulnerable teenagers who have become totally brainwashed by the constant propaganda?
Bringing the Outside In | Mayflower Below is part of the intro:
"Amber is alone. She’s not turned up for the first day of her final year of sixth form. She’s terrified of the climate crisis, and everyone knows it. Enter Yerna – a three thousand year old “giant” she accidentally summons, who turns her stuffy flat into a forest oasis!.
Of course they don't give away the whole story, but perhaps it might end something like this:
Suddenly Yerna emerges from behind a plant pot along with a whole mass of greenery. "Where has all this come from?" asks Amber.
Yerna explains, "You see the plants are my friends and they love CO2 and warmth, so your flat was just right for them. The CO2 levels in here are much higher than outside. That is why they pump CO2 into greenhouses".
Amber looked surprised. "But I thought CO2 was bad and that we were all going to die?"
Yerna spoke quietly and calmly, "I am 3000 years old and that is not true. The climate is a bit warmer, about 1.5 degrees C. It was just as warm during the Medieval Warm Period, around 1000 years ago. It was a really good time, just like the Roman Optimum about 2000 years ago. The worst climate was the Little Ice Age which only ended in about 1850. Just think, if we hadn't warmed up by that 1.5 degrees C. we would still be in it today!"
Amber smiled and gave a sigh of relief. "I am so glad you came", she said. "Now I know the truth I will go back to college and tell all my friends".
Amber took a load of selfies with Yerma and put them on Facebook with a short video of Yerma explaining things which soon went viral. After that she became a massive celebrity and President Trump invited her to the White House where she explained what had happened to the American public.
