ZERO CARBON HOMES?
Can anyone define the meaning of the term "zero carbon home"? This article talks about it but admits that there is, apparently, no actual definition. Personally I am not surprised by this, as there is no clear definition of "climate change" either; in fact the whole subject is a massive foggy area which allows for all sorts of spurious claims to be made, and no one can disprove any of them. One thing we do know is that "zero carbon homes" will cost more to build, which is a big draw back for potential buyers. I ought to point out that I am in favour of sensible measures to improve insulation and have efficient heating, but "zero Carbon" is just a fictional soundbite.
