It seems incredible to me that the few scientists who have access to the world's temperature data claim that they cannot disclose the data "because of confidentiality agreements". You can read all about it here at the Climate Audit website. Steve McIntyre, who famously discovered earlier that the 1930's was a warmer decade than the 1990's in the USA, cannot believe it either. It does leave those of a suspicious mind that perhaps the alarmists scientists holding the data have something to hide! For more on this see Christopher Booker's column in the Telegraph.
