MORE CLIMATE PROPAGANDA ON THE BBC


This piece looks at a recent climate change programme on BBC4 (which only has a small number of viewers). I saw the programme myself and totally agree with the article. It was a blatant attempt at one-sided propaganda with no balance.  The clever idea was to use mathematicians to present the programme, possibly because climate scientists are not trusted very much after the leaked emails. However it soon became apparent that this was a "hard sell" of the orthodox climate change doctrine. Any contrary ideas, if mentioned at all, were summarily dismissed.

    The analysis at http://agwunveiled.blogspot.com demonstrates that CO2 has no significant effect on average global temperature (AGT). Because CO2 is a trace gas, no significant effect on AGT also means no significant effect on climate.
    It and the peer reviewed paper at Energy and Environment, vol. 25, No. 8, 1455-1471 identify the two natural factors that do explain average global temperatures (95% correlation since 1895) and credible trend back to the depths of the Little Ice Age (around 1700).
    This work proves that ‘climate sensitivity’, the effect on AGT of doubling CO2, is not significantly different from zero.

    Why is the BBC propagandizing in favor of "climate change?"

    There are other good sources of info on that, but I don't have them bookmarked on this computer.
