It was an interesting exchange, if only for the fact that there is such disagreement among the alarmists as to what is effective, but of course neither of them would actually admit the obvious point, which is that no individual nations can make a difference to world-wide emissions without a world-wide commitment from every major industrial nation, and that looks highly unlikely.

The article also mentions other clear conflicts of interest at the BBC in respect of programmes on climate change where substantial funding comes from similar groups. A scientist has looked at temperature data taken at regular times throughout the day and his analysis shows that the warming is mainly at certain times of the day,leading to some very interesting conclusions for global warming.
