ARCTIC WAS WARMER 9000 YEARS AGO - NEW STUDY
Here's another study that shows that today's temperatures are not unprecedented, as it was hotter as little as 9000 years ago.and life carried on. So the climate changes and we must adapt to it. We cannot stop climate changing.
This is a local area warmer than today. The paper is not about that 9000 years ago the average temperature of the earth was warmer than today. This is a very misleading article.
This glacial retreat was followed by a prolonged period of warming known as the Holocene T hermal Maximum (HTM; ~7.5–5.5 ka), with local temperatures being warmer than today (17–19), which provides a valuable analog for current and near- future climate change (8)
