A very interesting discussion between Nigel Farage, Leader of Reform and Jordan Peterson is well worth listening to. If you want to pick out the part where they discuss climate policy then go to about 17 minutes in. I think Farage has got it right and I hope that the remains of the Conservative Party is able to come to an accommodation with him before the next election. Until we do there is no chance of the centre right coming back to government here in the UK.
I expect the contradictions within the current climate policy here to come to a head within the next few years as energy prices go on increasing to the point where there is a real crisis and the government is forced to reset, if not abandon its targets.
