HEAT PUMP DISASTER LOOMS IN GERMANY
According to this article the Germans are even worse off than here in the UK:
No tricks zone is definitely a denier site that supports fossil fuels. My wife and I installed a heat pump last year and it has saved us money and improved our comfort in our home.
They are reporting what a German professor has said. I am sure that in some cases heat pumps can work well, provided there is sufficient insulation. But if everyone has to switch it will be a disaster because many homes are not well insulated and it will mean the electricity supply will have to increase vastly to cope (on top of using EVs as well). There is an old saying "don't put all your eggs in one basket". Our political leader should take note of it.
