CLIMATE GATE INQUIRY BEGINS WITH RESIGNATION

This report on Channel 4 gives the details of how on the first day of the inquiry into the leaked emails, one of the panel members has agreed to step down as a result of protests about his biased remarks on the affair. We don't know whether the views of the others are any more objective, but at least it's a start. It will be a travesty if the result is a whitewash, but it's still a likely outcome.
