HOW OUR POLITICIANS ARE BEING GROOMED BY SOPHISTICATED PROPAGANDA

Here is a short excerpt:

"For the so-called National Emergency Briefing (NEB) — supposedly an “expert-led” briefing to address the UK’s “climate and energy crisis”.

The “briefing” event was supported by an array of organisations ranging from the National Trust and WWF to the National Education Union and the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds). There were 10 featured speakers, each introduced as a leading expert in their field",

That is propaganda dressed up mainstream logical economics, when it is presented to them in such a way that they cannot respond. When you go to a church you will get a sermon, and if you don't agree with it you are unlikely to stand up in the congregation and argue with the vicar.

AUSSIES SUPPORTING CLIMATE SCEPTIC PARTY

The Australian opinion polls are now showing a big lead for a party who are clearly against the current climate policies, just as in the UK. The tide is turning!

THE EFFECT OF EL NINOS IS NOT CLEAR

This article looks at the long term effects of El Ninos (or Los Ninos, as they are also known). The answer is that we are not sure, as recent research puts a different perspective on them.

MORE EXAGGERATIONS AND FALSEHOODS TO SCARE US

This report is a scare story built on the false idea that rainfall patterns have changed dramatically, which is simply not true as Paul demonstrates with the actual data in graphs. How do they get away with it? Subsidence has always happened and there is no evidence that it is getting worse.

ANTARCTIC CLIMATE CONTROLLED BY NATURAL FACTORS SAYS NEW RESEARCH

More revision of climate models is suggested because, as the paper puts it: ‘most current climate models fail to capture Antarctic sea-ice trends and variability’. The Southern Annular Mode (SAM) referred to here is also known as the Antarctic Oscillation (AAO). It may be modified by ENSO aka El Niño/La Niña events.

The title of the research paper is: Interdecadal shift in the spring Southern Annular Mode intensifies its lagged influence on Antarctic summer sea ice. The shift was in 1998, around the time of the so-called El Niño of the century.

TIME FOR A JUDICIAL REVIEW OF 7th CARBON BUDGET?

That is the view of David Turver in the article below. Winning a JR is extremely difficult as one has to prove that there was a flaw in the process, rather than in the actual decision. The arguments put forward by David sound good, but would they stand up in court?

NET ZERO POLICIES TO FOCUS ON CUTTING MEAT AND DAIRY

Until now, the UK’s emissions reduction programme has barely touched agriculture and land use. Emissions from the sector have fallen by only around 5% over the past fifteen years. Yet the legally binding climate framework now requires a far faster pace of reduction if Britain is to remain on track. [to fall off the cliff]

That is why food is the next front in the Net Zero project.

This is where the government has to be very brave and risk becoming even more unpopular, with both Reform and Kemi's Conservatives advocating dropping Net Zero, there is now a choice for the public.

DELAY COULD DEFEAT REPEAL OF ENDANGERMENT FINDING

Is the Court of Appeals going to delay the appeal about the Endangerment Finding, so that it can’t be decided by the Supreme Court until after Trump has left office? If that occurs, it would give a potential incoming Democratic administration in 2029 the ability to reverse course on the regulations, says Francis Menton.

CO2 BUDGET IGNORES NON-VOLCANIC CO2

Trying to include all natural sources of CO2 is a very difficult task and this new paper highlights a major area that has been missed. If the budget is wrong then the calculations from it are wrong. Science is never fixed if facts are found to be wrong.

IS THE GOVERNMENT IN DENIAL?

The UK government appears to be deceiving itself with its own propaganda in making out that it is creating large numbers of extra jobs and growong the economy when the reality is the exact opposite. Time for a reality check.

GLOBAL COAL INVESTMENT AT RECORD HIGH

We are often told that we must decarbonise our energy use to set an example to the rest of the world. Clearly from this report we learn that the rest of the world is not following our example and appears to have no intention to do so. If there was a "climate emergency" we would all be in serious trouble, however, despite the claims made by the UN Secretary General and the BBC, most people, including political leaders, seem to have decided it is not as much of an emergency as was thought. The slight warming which has occurred appears largely beneficial, with sea level continuing to rise at the same rate and crop yields at record levels.

SPRING CLIMATE IN GERMANY - SLIGHT WARMING

A slightly warmer spring in Germany is hardly cause for alarm. Indeed it should be most welcome. In other aspects of their climate there seems to be no trend. Of course there are many explanations for this warming including the urban heat island effect as well as poorly sited weather stations, as we have here in the UK

NET ZERO - EVEN BLAIR HAS REALISED ITS A NON-STARTER

It’s becoming increasingly evident that any justification for Net Zero has been demolished, as even Tony Blair has noticed. In a recent foreword to a report of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, ‘The Climate Paradox: Why We Need to Reset Action on Climate Change‘, he wrote that “any strategy based on either ‘phasing out’ fossil fuels in the short term or limiting consumption is a strategy doomed to fail”. He observed that ordinary people are increasingly sceptical of excessive climate action when other nations are not following suit. At the same time, he noted that the tone and arguments of the climate alarmists are “riven with irrationality”.

SHELL V FRIENDS OF THE EARTH (HOLLAND) APPEAL

SENSITIVE THERMOMETERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RECORD TEMPERATURES

We are constantly being told on the News that a new record temperature has been reached somewhere on a certain date, and they claim this is all due to "climate change", but what is never mentioned is that the traditional mercury thermometers have now all been replaced by PRT's (platinum resistance thermometers). These new thermometers are much more sensitive to sudden short spikes in temperature caused by a whole range of issues from the surrounding air. This is explained more fully in the linked article below:
