UEA GIVEN A DRUBBING BY THE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER

This article by Steve McIntyre on the Climate Audit Blog gives details of a ruling by the UK Information Commissioner forcing the University of East Anglia to hand over its Temperature Station Data, which it had tried every trick in the book to avoid doing. Now after almost 2 years of dogged determination and various appeals Professor Jonathan Jones (Not of course to be confused with Prof Phil Jones, head of the UEA Climate Research Unit) has finally got the decision. When you read this case you have to wonder why a publicly funded university doing research into a matter of such importance should wish to conceal such fundamental information from other academics - that is unless they have something to hide!
