The weather round-up for 2012 has been figuring prominently in news broadcasts in recent days and it is noticeable that "extreme" weather has figured prominently. We are now being warned to expect more extreme rainfall etc, which of course is due to climate change. (Global warming has fallen out of favour, probably due to the unexplained pause in any temperture rise.)
