OIL COMPANIES PLANNING TO SPEND $5 TRILLION ON EXPLORATION

This article shows the complete disconnect between the aims of the Paris agreement and the real world. Oil companies would not make this investment unless they were very confident that there was a good market for oil. They are right to be confident because despite all the hand-wringing and posturing from politicians we all know that without this oil the world economies would collapse and there would be riots on the streets as homes were plunged into darkness, and yet no one dares to say so publicly for fear of offending the green activists.
