Following on from yesterday's post, here is an interesting take on COP 29 and Starmer's climate policy from Richard North. Here is a flavour of it:

29 years of CoPs and no progress in controlling Earth's thermostat. Each CoP costs half a billion dollars to taxpayers, for the hypocrites of the world for1st-class travel, 6-star hotels, top class dining, and photo shoots. This year 50,000 persons will be attending for one reason or another the CoP29 jamboree
