UK ELECTRICITY DECARB BY 2030 IS WAY OFF TARGET

The chances of Labour meetings its self-imposed target of decarbonising the UK electricity supply by 2030 is a fantasy, says Richard North in this well-informed article:

Net zero: fantasy power | Turbulent Times

Not only will the government completely fail to meet their 2030 target on decarbonising the grid, they are also miles away from their heat pump installation target and the their electric vehicle target - which is probably just as well, as if they had met them they would not have nearly enough electricity to power them!
