BAN THE PATIO HEATER!

I am in Gran Canaria and trying to keep up with the news. I read in the Daily Mail that an English MEP is trying to get patio heaters banned. How pathetic is that? I wonder if she will ban any other sort of energy use that is not essential. How about toasters? After all it is not necessary to make toast. We could all survive perfectly well on bread. Christmas lights will also have to go. Swimmimg pools? When you think of it we might as well ban all of them.
