The protestors against the proposed new coal-fired power stations on the site of the existing power station at Kingsnorth in Kent caused a ripple of media attention in recent days. Reminscent of the anti-cruise missile protests of the 1980's, but on a rather smaller scale. They should have little impact on government policy.
