IPCC CHIEF'S BLOG

Dr Pachauri makes an occasional post on his blog and I could not help but be amused by the 3 comments. I even wondered whther he had written them himself.

5 comments:

  1. I left the following comment on his blog post dated January 18, 2010:

    Dr Pachauri,

Since you have no academic background in ANY branch of science, what makes you think you are qualified to serve as the Chairman of the IPCC?

I'm betting this comment will not pass moderation.

  2. It's a racing certainty that nothing critical of the great man will be seen there. Perhaps it is a comfort zone for him.

  3. Derek,

I'd say your assessment is correct.

It's been about 24 hours since I left the comment and it's not published yet.

It sounds like his (tax payer funded?) minions do the moderating. So, we can probably rest assured Pachauri will never even see my "inconvenient question".

  4. Yep, four days have gone by and still my comment is not posted (see the first comment in this thread).

I guess Pachauri doesn't want to explain his qualifications (or lack thereof).

    Not surprising.

  5. Sixteen days have passed and my comment is still not posted (see the first comment in this thread).

It is now extremely clear that Pachauri doesn't want to explain his qualifications (or lack thereof).

Not surprising. He has no qualifications!
