Here is an interesting piece from Paul Homewood. He looks at the work of the Tyndall Centre, which is a government funded think tank linked to global warming. Their thoughts seem to mean that the UK chemical industry just won't be viable in the future low carbon world that is mapped out by the Tyndall Centre. The problem for the government and the rest of us is that the chemical industry provides billions of pounds for the country as well as large numbers of jobs, many of them well paid.
