NEW MOLTEN SALT-COOLED NUCLEAR REACTOR COULD REVOLUTIONISE ENERGY PROVISION

Here is the article which explains the new technology which appears to have exciting possibilities for cheap, plentiful, safe electricity. This looks like a much better future than relying on thousands of wind turbines with all the problems of intermittent, unreliable electricity.

  1. OK, as long as they aren't pushing the fantasy of a thorium miracle. See also here for why thorium is probably being over-hyped.

  2. Thanks, Anon, interesting links. I guess that any nuclear technology has risks. The risks have to be weighed against the benefits.
