This Daily Mail article explains that David Attenborough is to present a one-off programme in the spring. By "unflinching" they probably mean a major piece of one-sided propaganda in which we will be shown as much footage of extreme weather events as possible while being told it's all the fault of humans emitting CO2.
What the programme makers are hoping is that viewers hold David Attenborough in such high regard that they will not question his words and so more people will simply accept the proposition and so accept the higher costs of fuel and travel that are to come.
While some will do so, I believe that many will see this for the brain-washing that it is and start thinking for themselves.
