Most of us used to accept that organisations like the UN and the WMO were trustworthy. Read this linked report and decide for yourself. Remember that the author believes we should reduce our fossil fuel use to prevent global warming. But he is also a man of great integrity who also believes that honesty is also important. "Quite a few climate disasters" is not an accurate description. The head of the UN claimed that disasters had increased by 500% which was blatantly untrue according to the data. In fact they had fallen slightly. I want to start and finish with accurate data. That is the only truth.
