CO2 GOOD FOR THE PLANET SAYS NEW STUDIES

Dramatic evidence has been published in a number of recent science papers that carbon dioxide levels are already ‘saturated’, meaning little or no further warming is to be expected and rising CO2 levels are all beneficial.

  1. That line of thinking will always be false. Your choice of what you chose to believe. Evidence says otherwise.

A viral tweet by Peter Clack has sparked debate online with its bold claims about carbon dioxide (CO2) and its role in climate science. It states that oceans are the largest reservoir of CO2, supposedly holding 93% of it—50 times more than the atmosphere and 19 times more than land. The tweet dismisses concerns about rising CO2 levels as a “colossal scam,” accusing climate science of ignoring CO2’s importance in photosynthesis, oxygen production, and the global food chain. While these claims might sound scientific at first glance, they are misleading, lacking factual accuracy, and attempt to downplay the established link between human-driven CO2 emissions and global warming.

  2. I accept that CO2 levels are rising and also there has been a small rise in the temperature of the surface. What I do not accept is that the increase has been proved to be a serious concern. The role of CO2 has also not been proved to be the main cause of the temperature increase. There are many natural causes of this which are being ignored, such as changes in cloud cover and the role of solar activity, ocean currents, under sea volcanoes to name a few. Read the work of William Happer for a good understanding of the role of CO2 and why it cannot cause much more warming.
