CANOIST STUCK IN ARCTIC ICE

This post explains that the intrepid canoist who was being shown on the BBC news several nights running has now run into some real ice and is beginning to get stuck. So much for the Arctic being ice-free. I wondered what had become of him. The final irony would be if he got eaten by a polar bear!
