ReplyDeleteWas mighty confused by the graph I arrived at by clicking on your 'Recent global temperature record' link. How does it relate to the one above correlating monthly global average temperature records from the Met, NASA and NOAA?

The graph obtained from the link you provided was from 1850 to the present, and if you look at the last 15 years of it you can see that it looks as though it has stopped rising. The graph on my 'Recent global temperature' link is a much more detailed look at those last 15 years. As can be seen, it shows no trend of warming.
It is worth noting that 1850 was just at the end of the 'little ice age' so it is a good thing that we have had some warming since then, though it is hardly a catastrophe to have had 0.7 degrees of it.
