MET OFFICE FORECAST OF SUMMER DOWNPOURS IGNORES EVIDENCE

This article examines the evidence from weather records to see whether summer daily rainfall is linked to warmer or cooler periods, and finds cooler periods give a stronger link. But why should we believe a few records when the forecast is made by nine months work by a huge computer?
