Here is the
article from the Indian press giving the story. It seems there were ongoing allegations of sexual impropriety. So he was not sacked for the errors in the IPCC reports. However he has been caught up in a number of controversies including claims of making money from the climate fear that he constantly pedalled. Will this change the way the IPCC operates or will it simply find another just like him? We will see, but I suspect it will carry on as before.
