ELECTRIC CAR SALES FALLING WELL SHORT OF GOVERNMENT TARGET

The new "command economy" that is rapidly replacing the free market in order to try and reach net zero emissions is causing all sorts of problems.

Electric car sales continue to falter: Demand last month dwindled and manufacturers risk falling short of costly EV targets | This is Money

The more that government interferes in the free market the worse things will get. When governments fine companies there is only one place that money can come from and that is the pockets of customers. Motoring is already becoming beyond the reach of many due to the exorbitant cost of insurance on top of fuel, road tax repairs etc. That is probably what many in government want, but people will soon join the dots and realise that much of it is due to the Net Zero policy.
