'Grid delays hamper UK industry's net zero' - future Net Zero
Surely no one is surprised by this. The huge cost of upgrading the grid was always going to be a big issue, along with the instability of supply from such variable sources like wind and solar. Things are bound to get worse as more of these are added. The whole point of a national grid was to have cheap, reliable electricity - well we can say goodbye to that.
