Richard North writes some interesting stuff and the article below contains a lot of truth as far as the policy on heat pumps is concerned. As Richard points out, we are in the Alice-in-Wonderland school of government support as, despite needing £4.5 billion a year to meet its targets, the government has committed a mere £1.5 billion spread over four years from 2025 to 2028. This amounts to a total of 200,000 conversions at a rate of 50,000 a year – leaving unfunded around 550,000 conversions a year to meet the target. Read the rest here:
