Those who are pushing the climate agenda are always looking for new ways to try and convince a sceptical public that the weather is getting much more extreme. So they are now suggesting that spells of hot weather should be given names to make them stand out more. They will probably try and find the scariest names they can find. I can't wait to see the choices!
Could UK heatwaves be given names this summer? - BBC Weather
Heat waves are what will do the countries living on the margin of survivability in certain parts of the earth. As the heat waves get stronger and longer from the effects our pollution of co2 into the atmosphere, these areas of the earth become more difficult to live or may have to be abandoned. Naming the heat waves that typically kill people brings attention to how dangerous they are.
ReplyDeletePeople today can live in climates which are far hotter than the UK even on its hottest day. It is complete nonsense to say that we will not be able to cope today with an extra 1.5 or 2 degrees C of warming. This is simply scare-mongering.
