The problem with all this, as I explained earlier, is that there is only a certain amount of green electricity to go round, so all this virtue-signalling comes at a price. Companies like Amazon who use vast amounts of electricity for their computers are naturally keen to grow and so consume more and more electricity, thus depriving the home-owners and small businesses of their share. Of course many of them are not bothered whether their electricity is green or not. What we are all discovering is that our electricity is getting more and more expensive, and that is a concern to all of us.
