FINANCIAL COLLAPSE A WARNING NOT TO TRUST OUR POLITICAL LEADERS

Here is an interesting article which compares the false belief by the majority of people in authority in the integrity of financial markets with the current (false) belief in the theory of CO2 causing global warming. It is an incisive piece which sees a common thread of belief in something which turns out, as we can now see, to be badly flawed. The author warns us that in modern times with mass media, it is easy for us to "sleep-walk" into accepting the received wisdom or those in authority without question.

  1. You use a comparison that suits your existing position, yet the advice you give regarding future abundance of resources and prospects for economic recovery follows the consensus exactly:

"Economic collapse will not happen. We will have a short period of recession followed by a return to the long term trend of growth."

This could have been written by any politician or public figure. Are you sleep-walking into accepting the received wisdom yourself?
