GERMANY IS NOT A GOOD MODEL FOR OUR ENERGY POLICY

This piece compares the German energy policy to that of the UK and shows that, if reducing CO2 is the aim (which I do not), then the UK is doing rather better. Our electricity is also cheaper at present, though not compared with the USA. In the long term the UK policy is just as mad as the German one, and we will both be in the export business - exporting our industry and jobs to the likes of China and India!
