EU INDUSTRY TO SUFFER

Proposals to "tighten up" the EU Emissions Trading Scheme are causing concern to the Industry Commissioner, according to this report in the EU Observer. He is naturally concerned that the scheme will simply make some industries so uneconomic that they will close down and move outside the EU altogether. A perfect example of the consequences of such ideas; we export industries, jobs and pollution! All in the vain hope of affecting the climate. How easy it all was in the old days when we simply made a sacrifice to the gods.
